Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, the American stage and screen actor and producer. She is most famous as a film actress due to her performances on the films Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She earned an B.A. in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School at New York University. Aunjanue was born in the United States and is an American actor, producer and director who is employed in film and television. She started acting on stage and then appeared in mainstream, independent and television series. She became famous as Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. On BET's amazing show The Book of Negroes she played the role of Ariel. Not only did she receive critical acclaim for her role but was also awarded and nominations. In 1995, she appeared in her first performance on stage in The Tempest as Ariel. The stage credits she has received include The Broadway production of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her film career is highlighted through her performances on Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. In her television work, she has been praised for her part in the role of a character who is a regular on ABC's police drama High Incident.
